Bacardi wanted ideas to appeal to more diverse consumers, specifically gifting concepts, using macro trends as inspiration.

The brief was:

• Present product and packaging concepts that enable consumers to interact with the product
• Solutions must be giftable
• 3D visualisations and full prototypes required for final solution

The solution needed to demonstrate how the concepts could be packaged and displayed.

Solution.

Aura’s packaging consultancy team explored ways to infuse the rum, enhance the brand and add value and gift appeal.

  • Ideation centred around infusion and interaction with the rum and the Bacardi brand
  • Concepts were generated with consideration for production, investment and sustainability

 

  • Structural design and graphical execution were combined to create all concepts
  • Final concept was taken through from visualisation to 3D mock up and then to full prototyping of the infuser and all packaging.
